Planning Commission Public Hearing Notice LP26-0003 (August 12, 2026)
Planning Commission:
On Wednesday, August 12, 2026, beginning at 6 pm, the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing regarding the Town Center Building Height Waiver, and will consider whether to recommend to City Council adoption of the proposed Code amendments.
You will not receive another notice unless you: submit a request in writing or by phone, or submit testimony or sign-in at the hearing.
City Council:
On Thursday, September 10, 2026, beginning at 7 pm, the City Council will hold a public hearing regarding the Town Center Building Height Waiver, after which it may make the final decision.
The hearings will take place at Wilsonville City Hall, 29799 SW Town Center Loop East. A complete copy of the project record, including staff report, findings, and recommendations, will be available online and at City Hall for viewing seven (7) days prior to each public hearing.
Summary of Proposal:
The City of Wilsonville is proposing amendments to Section 4.132 of the Development Code (Town Center Zone) to address building heights in the Wilsonville Town Center. Currently, Section 4.132 allows an applicant to apply for a waiver to building height maximums in the Mixed Use (MU) and Commercial Mixed Use (C-MU) subdistricts within the Town Center Zone and also allows a bonus floor in MU, C-MU, and the Main Street District (MSD) subdistrict if a certain percentage of affordable housing is provided in the project. The City proposes to remove the language in Section 4.132 that allows a waiver to increase building height and allows for the bonus floor. If adopted, all new development in the Wilsonville Town Center will be limited to a building height maximum of three (3) to five (5) stories, consistent with the adopted Town Center Plan, depending on the subdistrict in which the property is located.
How to Comment:
Oral or written testimony may be presented at the public hearings. Written comment on the proposal is also welcome prior to the public hearings. To have your written comments or testimony distributed to the Planning Commission before the meeting, it must be received no later than 2 pm on August 4, 2026. Otherwise, written comments must be received no later than 2 pm the day of the hearing to be considered. Any written testimony received after the deadline will be rejected.
