Towards the end of the 18th century, a revolution in the Arts and philosophy took flight, one that later generations would call Romanticism. Stories of the supernatural, poems about the inner self, music and art reveling in Nature and The Sublime filled the Western imagination. This course explores what it meant to be a Romantic, focusing on the art and music of the period as well as the verse of five major English poets who changed the course of the Arts around the world—Wordsworth, Coleridge, Byron, Shelley, and Keats.

Class limited to 15 participants. Register online here.
