Community Conversations

The City of Wilsonville is working to provide new ways to share information and gather community input during the COVID-19 public health crisis.  The Community Conversations series seeks to bring elected officials, residents, City staff and other community stakeholders together to go in-depth on topics of interest to the community.

These City-moderated 30-60 minute conversations will included several panelists to provide insight and information on the topic at hand.  The moderator may ask prepared questions and/or take questions from those in attendance on Zoom's webinar software.

Caring for Kids During the Pandemic

Schools have moved to distance learning, physical distancing guidelines are in effect, sports and activities have yet to resume, and many parents are working from home or struggling with the loss of a job.  How are caregivers coping with the immense challenges of COVID-19? What local resources may be available? What do our kids need right now to get through this effectively?

During this 30-60 minute moderated conversation, panelists discuss the challenges of raising kids during a public health crisis and answer questions from the virtual audience.
