Build a Better Backyard Habitat

Learn the basics of wildlife garden-making at a free class on Saturday, Nov. 6, from 10:30 to noon at the Stein-Boozier Barn at Memorial Park (8300 SW Memorial Dr.) Presented by Habitat Design PDX, the class offers a few of the secrets to establishing a healthy and vibrant garden that utilizes native plants to support the health of region’s unique plants and wildlife. Participation is limited to 25 people. Masks and social distancing are required for participants. The open-air venue is not heated, so it is recommended that you dress appropriately for the weather.
