Pollinator Week Celebration

Calendar Date:
Wednesday, June 20, 2018 - 6:00pm

Wilsonville City Council is recognizing Pollinator Week. The City is celebrating on June 20 with a viewing of “The Guardians,” a film about the delicate balance between human and nature.

The Guardians airs on June 20, 6 pm, at City Hall. The film elegantly interweaves the lives of the iconic monarch butterfly with an indigenous community in Mexico. Both depend on the same ancient forest for their survival and now face an uncertain future.

The evening also includes information and activities designed to educate Wilsonville residents about the value of building habitat for bees, butterflies and other pollinators.

Program:
6:00 pm - Informational tables & free native plants
6:20 pm - Xerces Society monarch presentation
6:30 pm - Screening of “The Guardians” documentary film
7:30 pm - Informational tables & free native plants
