Indigenous Peoples' Day

Calendar Date:
Monday, October 13, 2025 (All day)

Indigenous Peoples' Day is a holiday in the United States that celebrates and honors Native American peoples and commemorates their histories and cultures. It is celebrated  on the second Monday in October. It was established as a counter celebration to Columbus Day as many aspects of how the Indigenous or Native peoples were treated in relation to Christopher Columbus’ exploration of the Americas has been left out or misrepresented.
