Public Feedback Sought by City Council on Town Center
November 10, 2025 — Beginning today and continuing through Nov. 24, the City is inviting residents and other community stakeholders to share their feedback regarding Wilsonville Town Center Plan and the funding mechanism that would support implementation of the Plan over the next several decades.
The Wilsonville City Council is engaged in outreach activities in support of its two-year goal to engage the community in conversation about the adopted 2019 Town Center Plan’s priorities and funding strategies.
In October, DHM Research conducted three professional focus groups with Wilsonville residents. Now, to collect feedback to further inform the Council’s future direction, the City has opened this two-week period of public input to provide an opportunity for more members of the community to share their feedback about the Plan.
Information gathered from these outreach efforts is scheduled to be shared with the City Council later this year.
About the Wilsonville Town Center Plan
The Wilsonville Town Center Plan was adopted unanimously by the City Council in 2019 following two years of extensive public engagement. The Plan details the community’s expressed desire for a Town Center that is a vibrant, walkable destination that inspires people to come together and socialize, shop, live, and work in the heart of Wilsonville.
Subsequently, Town Center development has been stalled by the COVID-19 pandemic, economic uncertainty, and the narrow defeat of a May 2024 advisory vote to gauge community sentiment for funding new public infrastructure development through tax increment financing.
