The City of Wilsonville is hosting a neighborhood presentation by Kinder Morgan on the topic of pipeline safety and improvements. Kinder Morgan representatives plan to present information about the company’s operations, pipeline safety procedures and additional steps being taken to safeguard the community.
Kinder Morgan is taking several measures to improve local-area safety operations, including voluntarily installing an automatic pipeline shut-off valve in Wilsonville. Additionally, the company is engaging in an emergency-response drill June 25-26 in Wilsonville in collaboration with the City, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Oregon Department of Environmental Quality and other local-area emergency responders.
