An Evening of Impact

Presented by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Oregon, the Portland Immigrant Rights Coalition (PIRC), and Centro Cultural, this seminar provides learning, connection, support, and training designed to help community members show up with care and readiness for families and neighbors concerned about immigration enforcement. 

Program includes the following topics: 

  • Authoritarianism 101
  • Know Your Rights
  • Migra Watch / legal observer training
  • Q&A with follow-up resources
  • Donation opportunities

Registration is required for this free event.  Donations of $10 or more are suggested for attendees able to contribute. A QR code provided by organizers will be provided at the event to donate to Centro Cultural, PIRC, or ACLU. Donations support Centro’s Esperanza Fund to provide emergency relief to impacted families and neighbors.

The in-person community gathering is hosted in Beaverton by Centro Cultural to provide skill-building led by ACLU of Oregon and PIRCIt is being live streamed via Tualative Valley Community Television (TVCTV ) to viewing sites hosted by participating cities, including Wilsonville. Registrants will be e-mailed additional information, including a location at which to view the live stream locally.
